Thanks to a recently added feature, the process of increasing disk size on a Windows Server in AWS has been greatly simplified.
From the EC2 Console, go to Volumes. In Actions select Modify Volume.
From there, you can modify Volume type or size.
It should be noted that you can’t decrease a volume.
After proceeding with increasing the size of the volume, Rescan disks in diskmgmt.msc and extend the volume.
